So I've tried first aid, I've tried restarting my computer, I checked to see if it's compatible with mac, I looked in finders preferences to make sure hard drives were selected, I mounted it and unmounted it, and nothing has worked so far. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

so that looks like a very large (14 TB) exFAT drive, and appears to be mounted as Fawn Backup 1.
The added ' 1' is surprising. Is there some confusion about its name? do you need to restart your Mac?
if you show all files (or use Command shift > ) at top-level of your boot drive, it will show you all the 'invisible' folders, including unix 'guts' as well.
One of those is /Volumes. Its components are the Mounted drives, and you could click on Fawn Backup 1 there to attempt to open it in a finder window.
The key command didn't work for me, but is it the same as show all devices? Like the picture below?
Yes, that's all selected.
can you post a screenshot of the Disk Utility window with the drive selected?
That's the right drive. It's just the 2nd back up. I've already tried restarting my mac unfortunately.
Oh, so sorry. That is not a disk Utility shortcut.
Navigate too the desktop and make sure Finder is the active Application. That shortcut toggles a Finder setting.
