Apple watch update

Hello, so I have iOS 16 and I have set in the Watch app software updates for watchOS 10. I can’t now turn it off, because it is saying that I have to update my iPhone first. So I wanted to ask you, is there any way to turn beta updates off without updating my iPhone or resetting my Apple Watch?

Thank you! :)

I'm not sure we can help you here. WatchOS 10 is beta software which has not been released to the general public and you can't ask about beta software here. I'd guess your iPhone needs to be on the iOS 17 beta to use WatchOS 10, but that's just a guess. I personally don't want beta software on my devices. Beta software is software in test and is guaranteed to be buggy until brave people out there test it, report issues and things get fixed until final release to the public. I don't want things to be buggy on my devices.

I'd contact Apple directly for help with your question. If you're in the US, you can call them at 800-MY-APPLE

If the forum hosts see this, they may delete the thread, if that's what you mean by have a problem from it? Otherwise, you can fully expect some things not to work as expected when testing software. People should only put beta software on a device which they can afford to have things not work. If you depend on your devices to work without hiccup, it's usually not advised to install beta software.
