Screen Time is high on apps I don’t use

When I checked my screen time today it said I’ve been on settings app for 8 hours even though I’ve only been on my phone for 2 hours. My phone was not on the settings app overnight so I don’t know why it says this. The more I use my phone the higher the screen time on the settings app goes up. How do I fix this

iPhone 11, iOS 16

I don’t believe this can affect anything if you haven’t actually had it on. The only guess I have is you didn’t close out all your tabs. I recommend doing so because the more tabs you have running the slower your phone will be.

Your phone may have started to backup or update while you had the tabs open. That could have something to do with it.

These are just guesses and are probably far off.
