why does my selfie pictures come out on the opposite side

On my iPhone every time I took a selfie picture my picture will come out on the other side or “flipped”. Although I figured out how to fix it, you just have to go to your settings>>camera are>> “mirror front camera”.

iPhone 16 Pro Max front camera stuck in mirroring mode, how to fix the reversed selfie issue? It would seem that the Software Engineers would be able to fix the toggle for the front camera on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. There is no reason that it should be stuck to permanently reverse the image on all front facing selfies. Why do I have to keep going back to reverse everything? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
