Mirror Front Camera Issue on iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 18.1.1

settings>Camera> toggle on & off the "mirror front camera” button has no effect in flipping an image when shooting selfie pictures. If there are words in the picture, they are reversed, no matter what position the “mirror front camera“ button is toggled too.

I’m having the same issue on my iPhone 16 Pro Max the front camera always flips the image so that text is reversed, no matter what the “mirror front camera“ switch is set to.
