When I put my AirPods Max on It won’t turn on right away. I have to reset it and try to get it to turn on. this never used to happen it just started happening a few days ago. And sometimes when I am listening to music it randomly shuts off and disconnects. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

You might want to check that you are only connecting AirPods to one device at a time. (Eg may not be switching between multiple devices.)
See if turn off / turn on bluetooth helps

Your iPhone (or Mac / device you use) may need updating to the latest compatible iOS version. Eg: About iOS 16 Updates - Apple Support (says iOS 16.5.1 is the latest)
(The firmware on the AirPods can then be updated automatically when paired).
