Dents on new Macbook Pro M2 screen
Hi,
My story short: bought new Macbook Pro M2 one month ago and yesterday, while cleaning screen, I noticed that it has a really small dent on the screen. I have no clue how it happened. My last Macbook pro 2015 screen have never had a dent. Then I read forums and noticed that many people got them.
I am so disappointed. It's the most expensive device I have ever bought, took extreme care with using sleeve, blowing air with special device before closing to remove dust from screen and keyboard like psycho and it still happened. Of course, in my country there is no Apple Care so they are just saying that standard warranty won't cover ('as I damanged it myself') and they won't change it as faulty and only solution is for me to pay to get screen replaced. Are they kidding? Paying extra 1k for a 1 month old expensive computer. I feel like there is some design flaw or something because old Macbook looks great and I have not looked after it this much.
I heard that if Apple admits that it's their design/manufacturer flaw then standard warranty will cover replacement. Does anyone know anything about it? Is there anything I can do? Really made me re-think choosing Apple.
