Small Dents on brand new MacBook Pro 14

Hello everyone, I came across numerous threads discussing this issue after discovering a couple of small dents on my MBP screen yesterday. I am extremely cautious with my 2023 MBP and always keep it clean and well-maintained, just like a baby. Even my previous 2018 MBP still appears to be brand new, as I always take good care of my equipment.

However, I am perplexed as to why this is happening. I am aware of numerous similar cases where people have had dents or dimples on their MacBooks despite being very careful with them.

Has Apple issued any official statement regarding this matter, particularly in terms of replacing the screen or anything that falls under warranty?

I have inquired with some Apple-certified repair centers, and they have informed me that it is not covered as it is deemed user damage. I have not caused any damage to it, and I always ensure that the keyboard is clear and clean before shutting the screen.

Thank you all.

No official statement—I am not seeing a wide spread issue.

This is based on synopsis by Grant Bennet-Alder:

Apple sold about 20 million Macs last year. That's about 400,000 a week for 50 weeks. On a seven-day schedule, that means they shipped over 57,000 a day, and most of them were MacBook/MacBook Pro models
