Disabling Personal Hotspot

Can you disable the personal hotspot on Children’s devices? … through Screentime or other avenue? ….. I’m not asking how to turn it on or off but how to disable it.

Personal Hotspot is a service of your carrier. Contact them and see if they can disable it on the child's phone.

However, he can still toggle on and off his personal hotspot and use it to play games on his school laptop. Hotspot Mode won’t Stay On I know this is probably a feature or security protection option, but my phone keeps disabling the Hotspot mode seconds after something disconnects. It’s actually very annoying. I want to manually turn on or off my hotspot mode based on when I choose and not have some feature enabled that is trying to protect or save my data. Is there a way to disable this feature so that my Hotspot will stay on until I turn it off manually? Again, I know this is probably not the best option, but with 4 kids, my iPad and Laptop, it’s really annoying to have to keep turning the hotspot back on just because it wasn’t is use for 3 minutes. I had the same issue and finally got it figured out. I called my cellular carrier (T-mobile) and put a data blocker on my son’s line. He can still message, phone call, and use WiFi, but no more hotspot or cellular data which works for me 🤗
