photos are missing from iCloud.

I deleted 8000 photos from my iPhone but they were on my desktop before I deleted them. All but 199 are gone. How can I retrieve the photos?

Was iCloud Photos turned on? If so, you deleted all of your photos from iCloud.

Open Photos and go to the Recently Deleted folder.

Restore them.

If you didn’t empty the bin, go to icloud.com, open Photos and go to ‘Recently deleted’. Deleted items stay there for 30 days, unless you also removed them from ‘Recently deleted items’
