Battery health

I bought this iphone 2 weeks ago and its battery health dropped from 100% to 98% in two weeks. Should I be concerned?

The iPhone 12 Pro Max (Your iPhone) is more than 2 years old and the battery health showing 98% is actually a good thing. The iPhone battery health, on average, drops about 1% a month and should hit 80% left in about 2 years. Once battery health reaches 80%, then you should get the battery replaced according to Apple.

Battery Health & Performance

Your battery health is fine and is undergoing normal usage. iPhone batteries, like all rechargeable batteries, are consumable components that become less effective as they age. You should change out the battery once your Battery Health reaches below 80% which will take over 2 years to reach under normal usage. Until then enjoy your iPhone.
