I’m inputting a correct password at the startup, but it’s not logging me in. It doesn’t lock me out after third try to reset my password. What do I do?

my daughter is logging into her MacBook Air with her password, but it’s not accepting it and not logging her in. It doesn’t lock her out to reset her information.

MacBook Air (M1, 2020)

Is she entering her password as case sensitive. When was the last known time she was able to sign in? Have she tried resetting her password?


She can reset the password and possibly writing it on paper, just in case.
