Restore Stuck

My phone has been stuck restoring for a few weeks. I’m still able to use it, however it won’t complete the restore, won’t allow me to stop the restore, and won’t download the newest software I’m guessing due to this. I’ve done a hard restart, connected to iTunes on my computer, but it won’t allow me to do anything bc ‘restore in progress’. How do I get it to stop, complete or restart the restore?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

Hi Borg_4,

From the Apple Support page Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup:

"Stay connected to Wi-Fi and wait for a progress bar to appear and complete. Depending on the size of the backup and the network speed, the progress bar might need a few minutes to an hour to complete. If you disconnect from Wi-Fi too soon, the progress will pause until you reconnect."

If the process has been attempting to complete for weeks, that could be explained if you have not been connected to Wi-Fi for that entire duration. If that's the case, connect to a high-speed Wi-Fi network and allow the restoration to finish.

Regards.
