Mac Mini m1 2020 compatability

Is the 2020 mac mini m1 compatible with the A1407 Thunderbolt display. I've heard using a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter will work. Do you know if this will achieve full functionality?

mac mini 2012 to new M2 with Thunderbolt Display I would like to upgrade from my 2012 Mac Mini to the new Mac Mini M2 soon. I'm currently using Thunderbolt Display from 2014 and I may have to keep the display for a while because of the budget adjustments. May I ask if the new M2 mini works with the already a decade old Thunderbolt Display? Any adapters? If so, which one? Thank you for your input.

Yes, it will achieve full functionality. M1 Mini with my Thunderbolt A1407 Display without issue via the Apple Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter.
