Itunes library crashing after one song

Hi I use windows 11 and have updated itunes to I assume the latest version. When I try to play songs from my library, one song is played and then itunes freezes and I have to crash out of it only to have the exact same thing happen again with the next song I play. Its driving me insane. Is their a fix or do I have to ditch itunes?

iTunes for Windows version 12.13.3.2 hangs regularly Hello, The current version of iTunes for Windows 12.13.3.2 also hangs regularly. This problem has now existed for at least a year and a half and each new version cannot solve the problem. If you search specifically here in the forum, you can follow the various postings about all previous program versions. Sometimes nothing happens for days and sometimes - like today - the program hangs as soon as you start it. This is very annoying and extremely irritating. I ask myself: why doesn't Apple manage to solve this problem? Greetings from Germany Rainer :)

Itunes not playing any songs or playlists only Radio Stations My work computer (PC - Windows 10 Pro Version 21H2) uses iTunes for music in the office. I had made a playlist that we used to play and one day it just stopped playing. When you click shuffle or an individual song in the playlist, it starts to skip through all the songs without playing a single one. It won't even let me play any songs that are searched regardless of it not being in the playlist. It will not work if I queue songs up either. The only thing it will play is Radio Stations. I do not see anything checked in system preferences or restrictions. iTunes is on it's up to date version. Nothing I have tried seems to be working and I cannot seem to find any recent posts with this specific issue w a resolution. Why would this be happening and how do I fix it?

Hi ed2345 thanks for responding. Unfortunately when it stops it freezes so I can't do anything except shut it down via task manager and reopen and try again. I have found it happens when I try to play the songs in order in my library. Sometimes when I switch to shuffle it starts working again and after a song or two on shuffle I can switch back to playing songs in order.

When it stops, instead of "crashing out of it," what happens if you double-click a different song?

OK, that is unusual behavior. You can try a computer restart and see if it helps. If not, reach out to Apple Support.
