Continued crashing of iTunes on a PC

Sory to rsurrect this issue....but none of the "fixes" suggested by Apple Support either on this forum or on the phone work to fix the problem of iTunes crashing/shutting down when I click Search ..... it makes no difference if I am trying to search the ITunes Store to buy new music or if I click search to search my Library....same thing happens: itunes closes and I am back to my desktop on my PC. I have Windows 11, a one year old PC, no plug ins, only one App that I know of on my PC which is Audible.com, and no ability to buy music from iTunes anymore because of this Apple issue. I am also running the latest version of iTunes.

If there is an actual fix to this problem, I would like to know. I would also like to know why Apple isn't addressing this years long problem on iTunes.

Windows, Windows 6

I have a very similar problem. Itunes chrashes. All the time. Without doing anything (after starting itunes).

Windows 11

Newest itunes version (not from win app store, which I also tried).

been hunting for hints all over the internet. tried almost all of them (reinstall, deleting different cash/library files, compatibility and admin rights, whatever). Crazy that these problems persists and an apple user with a PC has to think about third party fix tools that cost money (and probably wouldn't help either).

Please fix all these itunes errors the net is full of.

Greetings lakeeriefan,

If you have not already done so, make sure all the software for Windows 11 is up-to-date. If you need help with updating or checking for updates on your computer, you'll want to reach out to your computer manufacturer or Microsoft Windows Support directly.

Also, if you have not already tried, check to see if restarting your computer helps resolve the issue. If possible, check to see if the issue happens when you're using iTunes under a different user name. This can indicate if the issue is related to a specific user/profile.

What about if the PC is connected to a different Wi-Fi network? If the problem happens on a different Wi-Fi network, and you've already verified that the software that the software and app are up-to-date, you'll want to reach back out to Apple Support directly. You can reach out to them by clicking here: Contact - Official Apple Support or over the phone by calling the number that is most local to your region: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support.

We hope this information helps you out.

Cheers!
