Date stuck in1945-Help me fix it.

I'm not able to change the date, though time has been set automatically as per time zone but my date is set to 1945.I tried unlocking the location service and checked all the necessities for the automatic detection and still it doesn't change.Did SMC and PRAM reset as well.

After this didn't work I tried editing the date manually but not able to go beyond 1959.

Funny thing Macbook pro didn't exist in 1945 nor 1959.

Can anyone help me out here?

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?

so I changed the calendar to Gregorian calendar the problem got resolved.

Hope this helps someone else who goes through the same.
