If you have an AirTag in your car, bikecycle, bag or so and someone steal it, the theif get a notification there is an AirTag and they can easy remove it. How does this help and can it be prevented?

The AirTag was not designed to be an anti-theft device. At best, if a thief steals your bike, you will be able to track them until they discover it and remove it (or its battery).

When it gets "triggered" is when it is away from your iPhone after a certain period of time. It would be the same if you tagged your pet. It would start beeping.

What the AirTag is good for is helping you locate a misplaced or lost item, so you can retrieve it.

To "solve" this "issue" you need to get a dedicated anti-theft device ... something like a LoJack.
