Microphone stopped working

internal micro phone stoped working on a late 2014 Mac mini. It’s be tried resetting using sudo in terminal and turning off SIP to reset. Went through the activity monitor, turned dictation and Siri on but it doesn’t even recognize the internal microphone anymore!! It doesn’t even pop up as an option for devices anymore. I have deleted some background processes and daemons but I don’t know which one would effect microphone. I have even messed with ports that I’m pretty sure had to do with the camera but I could be wrong. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
