10.6.6 bug when inserting clips in timeline

After updating to Fcpx 10.6.6 I get the following "navigation issue" in the timeline:

When inserting a clip to the project/timeline using a shortcut (q, w, e or d) the player head jumps to the end of the project and zooms in, which means I am unable to see any of the clips in the timeline.

Until this bug is fixed, I guess I'll have to drag and drop clips into the timeline like a newbie :-)

Please fix it!

This being the first time we hear of this problem, I don’t think it is a bug, but more likely something specific to your machine.

Start by deleting preferences- corrupted preferences are known to cause a lot of weird behavior, this could be yet another case of that.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences. The application will start in a default state, and open an “Untitled” library.

Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

If the problem persists, Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here.

Use the “additional text” button and paste the report into the text box.
