Lightning external mic to USB-c iPad Pro 2022

I would like to connect a male lightning mic receiver (for wireless mic) to usb-c on new iPad Pro 2022 and record audio. This question was first posed in 2019, one would think there would be some way to do this by now.

Lightning and USB-C are entirely different interfaces - that at not inter-workable. Lightning accessories fundamentally cannot be connected to a USB port.

I have no idea if these work, but there are adapters for this on AliExpress.
