Can you no longer archive iMessages on iPad or iPhone? Only options I get swiping left is to mark as unread and delete if swiping right. Tried clicking on message and no option to archive there either; just pin or hide alerts 🥴. I’m sure this used to be a feature

You can save an audio message that you receive in Messages, but there has never been an archive feature in the Messages app on an iPhone.
Unless you have chosen to sync your Messages with iCloud, you Messages history will be stored in your backup if you need to preserve them.

A year later and still no ability to archive messages. I'm sorry Apple, but are you CLUELESS? Why would you NOT have such a simple and useful feature that Android has had for literally EVER? You consistently disappoint me.
