Apple Pro Speakers on New Mac Laptop

Hi, I am a HUGE fan of the Apple Pro Speakers design and have just bought a pair for my current Mac setup (2021 MacBook Pro 14"), only to find out they have a proprietary connecter. Based on my research, I see that this connector carried power, amplifier, and LR audio. Additionally, the amplifier was built into the iMac G4. So, I was wondering if anyone has researched or developed a way to build an adapter to convert this jack to a USB interface that can deliver power and stereo audio. (I know of the Griffin iFire adapter, and that would not be the most ideal for my purposes due to the FireWire protocol.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tyler

After posting and further research, I discovered a great mod from TigerK on this forum. I have not tested it yet, but it looks promising. I'll update here once I test it for any future people attempting this project.
