If your new phone is already set up, you can always use Airdrop to transfer your photos and contacts. On the receiving phone, you may have to set Airdrop to receive from Everyone for a short time, since by default it is set to only receive from people in your Contacts and you may not have that yet. This is done at Settings > General > Airdrop. Just make sure both devices have WiFi and Bluetooth on.
