What if the device I had my AirPods paired got stolen? any way I can pair to my new device?

Lock this Device:

Only you can unpair them. So, lock this device you speak of, if Find My was enabled on it. For example, go here for an iPhone:

Modify your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, consider modifying your credentials.

About AirPods and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the local shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to that itself was connected to the internet. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address.

You Need to Unpair these:

So, log back in to iCloud in the device these are paid with. Then unpair these from the device. Finally, log out of iCloud once more.

Same here, I tried resetting them to factory settings but it didn't work. At some points, when I tried turning Find My on and off, it said that the AirPods were connected to another Apple ID (I did lend the AirPods to a friend, but they can't be transferred to another Apple ID without me removing them first). It also showed that the AirPods were mismatched with someone else's and not paired properly, even though they worked fine when I put them in my ears.

After turning Find My off and on about five times in iCloud,AirPods settings, and resetting airpods to factory settings, I no longer get messages about them being on someone else's Apple ID or being mismatched or have connection problem, but the case still doesn't show up.
