Unwanted bookmarks appearing in Safari

When Safari opens three old bookmarks appear. When I open additional bookmarks the three do not vanish

They sort of look like pinned pages. Can you ctrl-click on them and choose unpin?

Maybe it is some extension you have loaded.

Keeping bookmark list open in safari sidebar? Has this problem been fixed by Apple yet? It's an inconvenience to keep having to click the Bookmarks menu everytime that a new Safari Window is opened.

Can you drag them to the desktop which should make them go away.

Alternatively, with Safari open go to Bookmarks>Edit bookmarks and find them there and delete them
