Keeping bookmark list open in safari sidebar?

Has this problem been fixed by Apple yet? It's an inconvenience to keep having to click the Bookmarks menu everytime that a new Safari Window is opened.

MDMac808,

Does this only occur after restarting your Mac and relaunching Safari, or does this occur every time you open a new Safari window?

If you create a new Administrator account, and test that behavior from there, does it still persist? Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support That should help to further isolate this behavior to either an account specific or system wide behavior.

Let us know your results, and we'll keep moving forward from there.
