I have a subscription thru my cable company for Apple TV Not sure how to make it connect!

I believe I get Apple TV thru t-mobile.

Not sure how to make this work on my TV.

I've installed the Apple TV app and I have logged in. There is no option that I could see to connect with a TV subscription.

Not sure what to do next.

The offer from T-Mobile has to be redeemed as T-Mobile describes. The offer is in combination with mobile plans (not cable). One of the steps is to link your Apple ID account to their administration.
