Default Currency For Mac

So I'm trying to change the default currency of Excel to dollars on my mac running Ventura. It seems that changing the default settings via the language menu is gone.

So I typed this into terminal:

defaults write NSGlobalDomain AppleLocale -string "de_DE@currency=USD"

It changed the default currency to dollars. However, the dollar sign came after the number instead of before and the letters USD also came up.

How can I change it so that the numbers would appear like this:
