Default currency in Spotlight

Hi,

I have Mac OS X Ventura and would like to change the default Currency used for calculation

Most of the time I use it for those conversinos:

EUR -> CZK

CZK -> EUR

Since I live in Czech Republic and have set the Czech as my Region, the conversino EUR -> CZK works great:

However, when I need to do the opposite CZK -> EUR, it does CZK -> USD:

I can type "100czk to eur" and it works, however, is there any possible settings how to change the default conversion to whatever -> EUR not USD?

Yes, spotlight is great. IMHO, the best tool in Mac OS for me :D I use it daily for those very fast calculations or conversions. Of course I can use google or some other was, but this is way more fast. I just press command+spacebar and start taping. There's nothing faster than that :)

Yes, I've read many articles online where the location is mentioned and tried many combination of settings, however, that affects only the local currency (in my case CZK).

But it doesn't take into account that since I live in Czech Republic, I also live in EU, so I prefer EUR instead of USD. It's pity...

Interesting...I would of never have guessed to use Spotlight.

There are other ways to do currency conversion(?) In your browser search: convert CZK -> EUR

ex.

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=convert+CZK+-%3E+EUR

I suspect the Spotlight is aligned with your "Location Service" ...

I see Spotlight is in the list, try toggling it making a change and compare your results.

Otherwise I see no easy way to dictate to Spotlight, try making changes Spotlight>Settings and compare any results... for example include Siri as a guess(?)
