Apple Music unresponsive on AppleTV HD

Hello,


The Apple Music app on my AppleTV HD is laggy when browsing any lists and playlists. Also skipping to the next song or fast forwarding takes often seconds and the device is unresponsive during that period of time. What I tried:

  • I started from TvOS 16.4, moved to 16.5 and upgraded meanwhile to a newer version
  • I reset the device to factory defaults

The issue persists, other apps (e.g. Amazon Prime, YouTube) and OS menus work smoothly as usual.


Any ideas?

If it clears up, the issue is with how your network is configured. If it still doesn't work smoothly, you can connect with Apple directly using either Get Support or if you're in a region without direct support options, you can also Contact Apple for support and service.
