Itunes not syncing Icloud Music Library on Mac

I have a MacBook Pro OSX 10.9.5.

I also have a subscription for Itunes Match

Under Itunes>Preferences>General, there is the option to tick 'Icloud Music Library' so that the Itunes Library syncs across all devices.

When I tick this and click OK, I get an error message: 'Genuis results can't be updated right now. An unknown error occured (-9824).

The Icloud Music Library option remains unticked, and my other devices are not synced with my Itunes Library

Any suggestions to rectify this ? Thanks

Try Exporting the Music:
