Personal hotspot

Why did my personal hotspot all of a sudden quit working? I was using it and it just quit. Icon not showing even though it’s toggled on. Restarted phone toggled hotspot off and back on again. No icon showing even though it’s toggled on. What is causing this? Something wrong at the cell tower I’m on?

Personal Hotspot is a feature provided and managed by your cellular service provider. Please contact your carrier and have this issue resolved.
