Export Stems of Own Length in GarageBand

I am trying to export individual tracks/stems from one project but they always contain the full length of the longest track/stem which creates an extended track with no sound and of way too long a length.

Is there an easy way to export only the length of the track chosen for export?

Exporting track stacks as individual stems Hello I am wondering about the export functionality of track stacks in Logic Pro X. Occasionally I will use track stacks combining several things to create the illusion of one instrument, in which case just exporting the track stack as one stem is perfectly fine. More often however I use track stacks for bus processing for drums, groups of backup vocals, etc, and when I am exporting stems to someone else I wish for each individual track (for example the hi-hat, snare, kick, etc INDIVIDUALLY) to retain all the same processing as the track stack. As far as I can tell, there is no way to do this. The workaround of course is to bounce the session while soloing each track, which is 1 extremely tedious and 2 not effective if there are threshold based effects such as a compressor on the track stack because the effects will not react and sound the same when only one of the sounds in the track stack is being fed into them. Am I missing something here? This seems like a flaw in the design of the function and I find it hard to believe after all these years of track stacks existing there is no way to properly export them

How to extend track in GarageBand Somehow, I got into a view mode where my track always reaches the right edge of the window, and I cannot drag the track out to extend the duration of the loop. How do I get back to where I can scroll right, past the existing music and add things to the end of tracks?

Decrease number of bars on GarageBand Mac project I used the triangle (upper right corner of screen) to add more than the amount of bars needed to record a project. Now want to remove extra bars that were recorded upon. I use the triangle to move a line to the end of the tracks which will stop the song at the proper bar, but the extra bars remain in view on the screen. The project/song will end playing at the proper place but there is still empty bars appearing on the screen. I expand the project's tracks to fit the screen, but beyond the tracks, still lies the original 200 tracks I first set up. Example: I set the project up for 200 bars. Now recorded, the project is only 100 bars long. How do I get rid of the extra 100 bars? Should I just ignore them or is there some way to totally remove them for the project's screen? Garageband IOS does this with a window that allows you to enter the total amount of tracks for the song. You may use auto to make sure you get the whole recording then turn off auto and enter the exact amount of bars the recording takes, after the recording. Anything like that in Garageband Mac?
