Following the instructions by putting my phone on the MagSafe Duo, going to Settings/General/About then down to MagSafeDuo it shows firmware to be 0.0.2.56. According to the article it is supposed to show 10M3761.
My phone is charged with that charger every night, so there would be enough time for the firmware to update. Update settings are set to "automatic", my phone is a iPhone 13 Pro Max, running iOS version 16.5.

Do you have a Mac computer at home? If YES, then connect your MagSafe Duo to the Mac for a few minutes and it should get updated.

My Duo does not show up in Settings at all. Was there anything you had to do for the Duo to show up in Settings as an option so that you could view current firmware version? My AirPods Pro, MagSafe Battery both show up when connected, but the Duo does not. Frustrating.
I don't. All I have is my iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPad mini (newest generation). I used to have a MacBook, that died on me so bad that I couldn't even have it repaired.
