After finishing handwriting with my apple pencil 1 on Ipad pro 2015 with the actual IpadOS I discovered the half of the text disappeared. I didn’t delete it myself. It happened the next day after writing & of course after switching on & off the notes app. What could it be & how can I fix it??

I may have a solution - this happened to me, an entire note disappeared after adding just one more line. Tried recreating the note, but every time I added a line, it was erased. I found this thread and read the bug is related to iCloud syncing. So, I found that I had the Notes app open on three devices: Mac, iPhone, iPad. I closed the apps on the Mac and iPhone and then tried to draw again on my iPad. It worked! It seems the conflict occurs when multiple devices are trying to sync to iCloud. So, just close Notes on other devices when recording a handwritten note on iPad. Hope this is useful.

You can't. It's a known bug that Apple has yet to acknowledge with iCloud syncing. I've written to Tim Cook about it and received crickets.
The solution is to use a different notes app with Apple Pencil, unfortunately.
I’ve just tried to turn on saving notes on ipad memory and it is working. My notes doesn’t disappear anymore!!
The same thing is happening to me also, Since it is a native apple app, I shifted from goodnotes to Apple Notes but most times half of the notes vanished after writing in my apple iPad Air 4.
same here , but if I type a heading then write / doodle notes , the typed txt remains and syncs the handwriting is there until I create another note , then boom , all handwriting gone .
Where/how did you do that please?
