My Apple Music says my computer is not authorized to play songs even though I have authorized it, it tells me it has been authorized when I try to authorize it again. What is up?

Can't play song on authorized computer I've authorized my computer to play a song but it still won't play. I've tried to play the song on the itunes store, which says play because I purchased it, but I'm still prompted to sign in to authorize my computer. I do, then a small window pops up that says this computer has previously been authorized, it has been reauthorized. But it still doesn't play the song.

Songs won't play - Continued problem with "computer not authorized" Several songs in my iTunes library will no longer play. When I try to play them I get a pop-up saying "This computer is not authorized to play (song name). Would you like to authorize it?" When that happens I enter my user ID and password and get a pop-up that says "This computer had been previously authorized. It has been reauthorized." Then I go back and try to play the song and the cycle starts again. Why is this happening? How do I fix it? There are hundreds of songs where this is occuring and there is no excuse for this because I paid for these songs. Help!

Hi,

It is likely that the downloaded songs have been corrupted. Try removing download the re-download the tracks.
