iPhone Photo Album - No Sort Option for Photos

I am using iPhone8 & iOs 15.0.1 but unable to find the 'Sort' option in the '...' drop down menu in the Top right corner of a Album.

Change Default Photo Sorting With the release of iOS 18, photos that are put into albums now default to sorting by newest first vs previously they sorted by oldest first. Is there a way to change the default back to the old way? I know I can manually do this in each album but I use my phone for work, taking many pictures that are sorted into many new albums daily so it would be time consuming to do this.

I can't sort recents album photos on iphone 14 Pro Max Hi I am looking to get an answer how to sort recent album photos on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I would like to sort them from oldest to newest. Every other albums have the sort option when I click on the three dots at the top right corner apart from the "recents" album. I have tried everything and unable to find the answer online. Photo Album Custom Sort Option Missing For photo albums Apple support says with iOS 14 and later Custom Sort is available. I am using iOS 16.5 and the Custom Sort option does not display. This issue was raised in 2022 with 25 others saying they had the same problem. No solution was posted. Apple, please help!
