Overcharged Playing Royal Match Game

I have been severely overcharged when buying coins to play this game. How do I dispute this and have someone look into the history of the purchases and what is was charged?

I purchased a package from Royal Match by Dream games and was charged double. I looked at my records and ALL of my purchases through them are 2x what I thought I was paying.

I just was charged $29.95 after agreeing to buy coins for $0.99! Why has this app not been shut down yet?! I am disputing this charge! I noticed it had done this before, but thought it was just a fluke. Now I decided to google if anyone else had this problem, and it seems so many others have been overcharged as well!

I’ve just realised the scam on my account. I purchased a “travel deal 75% off” for $9.99

the bank debit was for $19.98

when I looked up my history, I see there were multiple charges in one day. Something I just wouldn’t do being a pensioner.

i won’t be continuing with this game now. I don’t trust it.

has anyone had any success with getting their money back?

You are 100% correct. I’m going to see if they do anything about this dispute, and then I’m going to delete the app.

they suck you in! Only started playing this game because you don’t need the internet to play and it was handy. But I quickly became addicted and would pay for the extra coins in order to keep playing! No more!

In my opinion, that's a clear case of fraud. There's nothing in the game's in-app purchases that costs more than $19.99. There's only one item that costs $9.99. And if they try to make the argument you purchased it four times, that still isn't believable as the cost would then be $39.96.

I decided to let it go because someone mentioned that sometimes you get multiple charges combined as one and that’s why it looks like more than it should. I didn’t keep track so that may very well be the case. I’m definitely keeping track going forward and so far have not noticed any indiscretions.

Only way to get your money back is to go through your credit card company. Royal Match customer service out right lies. First they claimed I wasn’t charged and when I provided proof they said they would re-instate the purchase (I know how big of them to want to give me something I paid for). I’m still waiting.

Happened to me but refused by apple to fix the $254 in charges I only made a few. Trying to grow dragons, lol. Due to lack of messaging I believe my team was AI generated. Sad to see this in blog and apple letting it happen. Will dispute with my credit card.

Apple is not getting greedy, the developer of the app is. Apple has no control over the charges the game makes.

Why they won't refund what appear to be highly suspicious charges is something no one here can answer. We are all other end users and have no say in the process.
