How to enable Spatial Audio on AirPods Max with Macbook Air M2

Hello,

I am listening to music on Spotify using Airpods max on my Macbook Air M2 and i have just noticed that spatial audio is greyed. I googled and i have an M2 chip and I am using the latest software on my mac and airpods so what could be the problem
