Every time I want to scan a document with Preview I get the following error: The file “Unsaved Preview Document.pdf” couldn’t be opened because there is no such file. Using another account on the same Mac works as expected. How can I fix it so that it's also working on my account?
I am trying to scan a document from my printer so Preview should create a new one, I am not opening a file...
I am guessing Preview wants to create a new file when I scan and for some reason/bug/error it can't
After trying many times it somehow got fixed by itself. I think it has something to do with iCloud. The Preview folder appeared in iCloud as soon as it started working. Do you have a Preview folder in iCloud?

Is the file on an external USB drive or on the local SSD drive? If so, copy from the external to the local drive and edit it there as a test.
