I can’t see the pictures people sent me on messages and they can’t see the pictures I sent them

Why I can’t see stickers and images on my messages app? I have my MMS on so I don’t understand why I can’t see them.

iPhone 8, iOS 16

Hello Uncoolweirdkid,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We want to help you with the Messages app. That way you can see your incoming photos. First, try the following steps below:

1.) Force close the Messages app: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

2.) Restart your iPhone to refresh things: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If your issue continues, you might want to try testing this issue on a different reliable Wi-Fi network. This can help isolate a possible network issue. If you only have access to one Wi-Fi network, try resetting your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before. If you're using iCloud Keychain, these settings are also removed from other signed-in devices.

Also, remember that if you have any pending updates, it would be a good idea to install them. Updates do include various fixes. Just in case, this resource: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

We hope this helps out. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
