I mistakenly dragged folders to the bottom bar on iPad. I want to move them back to Home Screen. How can I do this?

Hey there dettbarnl,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

We've all definitely been there, moving an app somewhere by mistake. The good news is this should be super easy to reverse. That bottom bar on your iPad with app icons is called the Dock. To move that folder, go ahead and press and hold your finger anywhere on your Home Screen (without touching another app) until the apps on your screen start to wiggle. Once they start to wiggle, simply tap and hold the app folder you created and drag it back to your Home Screen, wherever you'd like it to reside. That's it! You can repeat this process for any app or folder you want to move around on your Home Screen, including any that you'd like to place in the Dock for easy access.
