Missing scheduled send later mails

Hi, my scheduled Send Later mails are not showing in the sent folder. This means that I have no way of knowing if the email was sent or not. Checking my Account settings in

- Settings

- Accounts

- "the email account"

- Mailbox Behaviours

The Send Mailbox is set as "INBOX/Sent Messages" but when I change the setting to "Sent" it will change back to INBOX/Sent Messages in a few seconds. Now the fun part, I have no access to INBOX/Sent Messages and when I try to set up a Sent Messages folder I can't as the folder already exists.

How do I fix the behaviour and/or access INBOX/Sent Messages?

By the way this issue does not happen with Gmail, only my paid for email accounts and iCloud mail.

Hey there jto555,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

When you schedule messages to be sent later, they should automatically be placed into a Send Later mailbox in the sidebar of the Mail app. They will stay in that mailbox until they are sent at which point they should definitely be showing in your Sent mailbox. If they aren't showing up there as expected, we would recommend signing out of iCloud on your Mac and then signing back in to see if you are able to refresh that account on your computer to resolve this. This article covers the steps to sign out of iCloud on your Mac: Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac - Apple Support

This is the section we'd want you to reference:

Sign out on your Mac
In macOS Ventura or later:
1. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings.
2. Click your name.
3. Click Sign Out.
4. If you want to a keep a copy of your iCloud data on your Mac before you sign out, make sure that you select the appropriate checkboxes. Then click Keep a Copy.
5. If you want to keep a copy of your Safari passwords on your Mac, click Keep on This Mac.

Once you sign back in, if the issue continues to occur then we would recommend getting in touch with Apple directly for additional support: Get Support

We hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!
