Iphone 14 pro Front Camera on instagram making selfies look nasty and smooth

Anyone has the same issues? Even under normal light the front camera makes pictures weirdly smooth and blurry like a beauty filter. Updated instagram and IOS and still the same! How can i fix it? is it the problem of the iphone itself or the app?
