icloud windows 11 issue

Well, I informed the problem to the chat and telephone support, we did a lot of manipulations without success.

I didn't install anything more, however I guess the problem comes from the windows update KB5026372. it's the only thing that has changed on my pc and the installation date corresponds to the days when icloud stopped working

I found a 'fix' in another post on the same error that kinda worked, unfortunately I can't find it now but it was about deleting a snap-in in the certificates file. It worked enough that I can login to icloud but now I'm getting an error saying "unable to create a directory for icloud photos". I can log into icloud but still can't see my photos....oh well, guess we just keep trying.

The discussion jérôme88 posted above has 6 pages of discussion about this error. None of the tips work for everybody. I still can't get my photos on my home computer but I can get them on my work computer without any problems. I just have to hope Apple fixes the issue cause I've quit trying. As long as I can log into icloud thru my browser, i can still access my photos, it just takes a few extra steps. Good luck!

Did you uninstall that update? Did it help?

No problem, glad it worked for you. I've been messing with it all day and still can't get my photos but at least I know I'm not the only one.....

I hope you find a solution. I feel like there are quite a few worries about Apple services right now
