MacOS 13.3.1a magsafe not working

Greetings,

I have observed that the Magsafe3 feature is non-functional subsequent to a software update, whereas the USB-C to USB-C feature is operating optimally.

I have performed a thorough evaluation of my power adapter and can confirm that it is in good working condition. Additionally, I attempted to rectify the situation by shutting down my MacBook for approximately one minute, followed by restarting it; however, this approach did not prove successful.

I have also noted that the cable in question is new and is not displaying any indicator lights.

Do you have a friend, colleague or family member with a similar mac with a MagSafe connector?

Do a simple test: try your power adapter and cable on that other person's mac, and viceversa.

This will tell you whether the cable is bad, or if it is indeed a problem with your mac or 13.3.1.
