Can iPhones be hacked?

What are the ways people can hack into your phone? I know as much as someone can load a mirror app on your phone physically having it that is to where they can mirror your phone on to theirs but how about remote? PleAse give me detail. I have been experiencing so much these past couple years and trying ti make sense of what I have gone through. People think I’m crazy and I make up these stories about being hacked. Please help
