Solved? Logitech Circle View Doorbell Constant Notifications (Despite having it set to only alert for when people are detected)

I have the same problem to a previous poster, who stated this:

Inside the Home App on my iPhone, I have each camera set up with Activity Zones, and under the "Notifications" area for each camera, I set "Activity Notifications" to alert when specific Motion is Detected, I then set the "people, animal, package, vehicle" flags as the activities I would like to be notified for,.

It does not work. I get alerts for all of these -- vehicles, packages, people and animals -- but I am also bombarded with alerts for ANY motion. It's snowing this morning - constantly getting alerts as snowflakes pass in front of the camera. It's also windy -- leaves blogging are triggering as well.

I see others posting that they are having similar issues with cameras other than Logitech.

Is this a potential bug in the Home application?

I would expect that by specifying I only want to be alerted to SPECIFIC motion (people, animals, vehicles, packages), I would NOT get general motion alerts. I do not.

I've just turned off all alerts, because as-is, this is useless.

I too resorted to turning it off, but my engineering mind wouldn’t allow it! So I started experimenting. I noticed it was ONLY doing this on MY iPhone. My wife’s iPhone didn’t have the same issue, nor did my iPad, nor did our MacBook Pro. Just…my…phone. I reset the phone and the app to no avail.

What I tried about 15 minutes ago was unplugged all of our HomePods (we have four minis and two large HomePod 2s), both Apple TVs, and the doorbell itself. I let it sit for about five minutes. Then I started plugging everything back in, starting with the main Apple TV (the one that I believe is the hub). I plugged the doorbell in last.

So far, the issue has gone away on my iPhone. Will report back if that changes.

Day 2 and the problem appears to have been corrected thus far. Still not getting the bombardment of notifications on my iPhone like I was previously.

It’s amazing that with how many things require all HomePods/Apple TVs to be reset (I’ve seriously fixed over a dozen issues this way) that Apple doesn’t have the option to do this automatically every day - say at 2am in the morning when everyone is asleep.
