Airpods pro 2 doesn't auto switch and auto disconnect when using it on M1 macbook air

Dear Apple team and the community,

It seems like I am facing a problem that I cannot solve.

  • Earpods seem to disconnect when I try to play videos or jump between different videos or jump from a minute to another in the video whether it's a youtube or downloaded video
  • Earpods don't auto-switch between my iPhone and the Mac. It works fine between the Ipad and the iPhone. It detects my iPhone if playing from the Mac but not the opposite.

any ideas on what to do? or this is common among other users?

Macbook air m1 version: Ventura 13.3.1 (2EE261)

Airpods Pro 2 version: 5E135 - Case version: 54.26.1
